Lovers of Gertrude Jekyll's style may want to own one or more 'Munstead Flower Glasses'. She designed and commissioned them when she failed to find flower vases that met her exacting standards. She used them to display the flowers grown in her garden at Munstead Wood, Surrey, and they feature in many of her photographs; she was a skilled photographer. In 1903, her designs were rewarded with silver and bronze medals from The Royal Horticultural Society and National Rose Society. The new range of these flower vases have been developed by one of her great great nieces and are exactly based on her original designs; they are manufactured to a high standard in Portugal.
